LUNAR NEW YEAR 2022

The Chinese Lunar New Year begins February 1, 2022, and starts the Spring Season that ends fifteen days later on the evening of the Lantern Festival. It is synonymous with bright red lanterns, family gatherings and Lazy Susans laden with food for days on end. Each New Year is accompanied by an animal from the Chinese zodiac; last year it was an Ox, this year, it’s a Tiger. The Chinese relate their horoscopes to their yearly calendars. Much like Western horoscopes, your animal sign can provide a window into your personality, prospects for your career and love life, as well as your fortune. This year is called the Year of The Tiger.

People born in the year of the Tiger are known to have courage, strength, strength, competitiveness, and self-confidence. They are known for their charm and are loved by others. In addition, the Tigers work hard, express themselves confidently, and do things in a dominant way.

In addition to charm and popularity, the characteristics of people born in the year of the Tiger are said to include self-confidence and courage. In other words, people born under this sign are considered leaders of nature. The tiger ushers in the third year of the 12-year cycle, following the Year of the Ox. Dating from as early as 1000 BCE, the traditional Chinese method of counting years is based on the sixty-year rotation of the planet Jupiter (known as the “year star”) around the sun.

Let’s hope this Year of the Tiger brings us the strength and courage and all the positivity we can wish for.
